Eco Warriors

The Eco Warriors, led by Mrs Gilmour

Our Eco Warrior Committee is made up from representatives for Key Stage 2 classes. Their mission is to make our school a more eco-friendly place and to remind children and staff of how to become more responsible global citizens. The Eco Warriors monitors classes compliance with our recycling targets and have introduced a weekly Turtle award for the class that is most eco-friendly. This year we have focused on walking to school to reduce pollution and to encourage a healthier lifestyle.

In 2022/23 Pupils at our school have earned an international accreditation this academic year with a merit, recognising their amazing work in making Shotton Hall Primary more environmentally friendly and raising eco-awareness in fellow pupils.

The Eco Warriors do a very important job and remind us that we need to take care of our environment and do all we can to protect our world for the future.
