Virtual Sports Day 2020!

Breaking news!

Shotton Hall’s virtual sports days will be starting this week. They will run till the final week of term.

Whilst we sadly can’t have a traditional sports day this year this is an opportunity for children, parents and teachers to still take part in a competition that is always very popular and earn some points for their team.

The challenges will be posted onto our website every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The guidelines are as follows

– watch the video and record you own attempt (video evidence is required to score points and can be sent via the Facebook messenger app to the Shotton Hall Primary Sports page or the main SHPS Facebook page). Send in the video alongside your name, year group and team name (we can help with your team if you can’t remember)
– you will receive 10 points for your team for sending in your submission
– if parents also take part this score will be doubled
– if you score higher than Mr Scorer you will receive a further bonus prize
– the highest boy and girl in each year will receive further bonus points
– for some activities the best parent score will also receive bonus points
– the highest scoring teacher will receive 50 points for their team

Only one submission can be counted for each activity. Only send in your final entry (feel free to practise).

Good luck everyone and we are looking forward to seeing your submissions (yours too parents)!

No hands allowed. Pick the paper up using your mouth. Either two footed or on one leg. The choice is yours. Good luck!
